A personalized larynogoscope, a medical instrument used to examine the larynx, is at the top of the list of the ten most unusual promotional items provided to the pharmaceutical industry by New Jersey promotional products company, Prime Time Plus. The second most popular item was a 3-D Take-One Brochure holder. Other items rounding out the top 10 were a chocolate sphygmomanometer, a hockey puck tape dispenser, a calculator with scrolling message, popcorn bucket, pocket medic-spanish translator, an otoscope specula dispenser, tongue depressor kits and a swiss army knife with a tracheotomy blade. Pharmaceutical buyers are the largest buyers of promotional items according to a 1996 survey done by Baylor University for the Promotional Products Association.
