MOLSON GETS SET TO CELEBRATE LIFE OF MAPLE LEAF GARDENS

Molson Breweries of Toronto is marking the Toronto Maple Leafs last game at Maple Leaf Gardens in February with an Ontario contest that began this week. Under the deal, one winner will receive the grand prize of six tickets to the last game at the Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, travel with the Leafs for two games in the U.S. and tickets to the opening of the Air Canada Centre. Two thousand winners will be invited to a street party in February that will feature live entertainment and appearances by Maple Leaf alumni. Consumers will be given a chance to win the prize through bar and radio promotions, as well as through a scratch 'n win ticket available in cases of Molson Canadian beer. The contest will be promoted using TV, radio and print ads created by Encore Encore Strategic Marketing of Toronto. Thornley Fallis Communications of Toronto is doing PR.
