BRAINSTORM WINS SLEW OF NEW BUSINESS

The Brainstorm Group of Toronto has had a busy fall. The agency picked up four new pieces of business since September: Sherway Gardens shopping mall, Premier & Curzons fitness clubs, Chieftain Insurance and Dorthea Knitting Mills. All companies are based in Toronto. The Sherway Gardens account was won in September. The Brainstorm Group recently launched a campaign for the mall using radio and outdoor ads. The campaign focuses on the Christmas season and uses the theme, cultivating hope and peace. The next campaign for Sherway Gardens will be launched in the spring. The Premier & Curzons business was handed to Brainstorm last month. The agency recently launched a campaign for the fitness chain using magazine ads. Outdoor ads will be added to the campaign in January. Premier & Curzons operates 20 fitness clubs in Toronto and the surrounding area. The Chieftain Insurance account was picked up last month. Brainstorm will launch its first campaign for the insurance company in the first quarter of 1999 using print ads. Chieftain is part of the Dominion Insurance Group. Brainstorm will launch a U.S. campaign next month for Dorthea Knitting Mills. The ads will focus on the company's new brand of wool to be announced in January. The wool will be sold at upscale department stores and in specialty shops. Dorthea's current product line includes Parkhurst wool, as well as private label brands.
