MALL TRYING TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHILDRENS' GIFTS

Bramalea City Centre of Brampton, Ont. has teamed up with the Peel Regional Police to give every child a gift at Christmas. The duo recently launched its Little Star Fundraising program to raise money to support needy children at Christmas. To promote the program, Bramalea City Centre has launched a radio promotion to encourage shoppers to donate funds. The radio promotion was created in-house by the mall. For a $5 donation, shoppers can hang a gold star on the Centre's Christmas tree. For a donation of $50, shoppers will receive a sweatshirt and will be entered into a draw to win prizes donated by mall retailers.
