BRITISH AIRWAYS TO OFFER MORE COMFORTABLE FLIGHTS

British Airways is trying to make it more relaxing to travel. The airline introduced its World Traveller service this week which features newly designed seats with adjustable headrests and foot rests, and more knee room, personal video screens for every passenger, with at least 12 channels, new menus and catering equipment, as well as a supervised play area. Other services include a Feed Children First policy, a hassle-free trip through London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports for business travelers which includes telephone check-in and first bag drop service, as well as an in-flight comfort kit with phone cards and vouchers for discounts and preferential treatment at Planet Hollywood restaurants. The World Traveller service will be phased in on all British Airways flights within the next two and a half years. In Canada, British Airways will begin advertising the World Traveller service next year. Canadian advertising for the airline is handled by Vickers & Benson Advertising of Toronto.
