RADIOMUTUEL SNAGS ADVERTISING CHANNEL

Montreal-based Radiomutuel has expanded its television offerings. The company has signed an eight-year acquisition and distribution agreement with Videotron Ltd. of Montreal for TV station Tele-Annonces. The channel runs static ads for new and used products for the consumer and commercial markets. Tele-Annonces reaches about 1,200,000 households across Quebec that subscribe to Videotron's basic cable service. Radiomutuel operates the Radio-Energie network and its eight FM radio stations, three AM radio stations and Canal Vie. It is co-owner of the Radiomedia Information Network, the RadioPlus sales service, radio stations CKAC and CHRC, the music video stations MusiquePlus and MusiMax and the TVPlus Media sales service. The company also operates the Societe en Commandite d'Affichage Omni.
