INTERNET DIRECT DROPS PRICE

Toronto-based Internet service provider Internet Direct has lowered the price of its Unlimited Calling access plan. The plan now costs, $24.99 plus GST a month. Until now, the cost was $26.90. The price reduction became available last week to new customers and will be available to all monthly credit card and pre-authorized payment customers on Dec. 1. The price drop is being promoted using print ads in computer publications. The ads were created by a freelancer. Internet Direct is offering the lower price because it has "implemented a variety of network, procedural and accounting improvements that have saved money, and we're passing those savings along to our customers," president John Nemanic says in a release.
