TRANSCONTINENTAL ADDS SECTIONS TO LES AFFAIRES

Montreal-based Transcontinental Publications has expanded its Les Affaires newspaper by adding two weekly sections: Management and Career pages. The management section will keep readers informed about the job market. It is geared to senior executives, business managers and specialists in information technology and administration science. Topics will include data on what organizations need and expect, work and job conditions, management head-hunting, labor law, legal concerns in business and corporate taxation. The career pages will publish career opportunities for senior executives. In addition, Transcontinental has joined forces with The Globe and Mail. Under the deal, when advertisers purchase a career ad in The Globe and Mail, they can receive a career ad in Les Affaires.
