Christopher Monnette has been named Canadian corporate sales manager at Symantec Inc. of Toronto. Most recently he was systems engineering specialist at the company. John Shackleton has joined Open Text Corp. of Waterloo, Ont. as president. Previously he held the same position at Platinum Technology Solutions.
