ICA BRANDING SEMINAR

The Institute of Canadian Advertising will host a seminar on Oct. 26 in Toronto. Called Understanding the Financial Value of Brands, the event will focus on the latest development in brand valuation, the increasing role and value of brands, alternative valuation methods, applications and case studies of brand evaluation, advertising agencies' contribution to the brand valuation process, brand tracking techniques and increasing demands for marketing information from investors and analysts. The keynote speaker at the event will be author and U.K.-based Brand Finance managing director David Haigh. The event is being sponsored by The Globe and Mail.
