SUNOCO OFFERS ONE-STOP SHOPPING FOR ENERGY NEEDS

Sunoco of Toronto has teamed up with home energy companies in Ontario to launch a one-stop service for customers' home and business energy needs. Under the deal, the home energy companies will sell their own heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, as well as Sunoco's natural gas. In addition, they will be able to offer Sunoco's financing program and in a few weeks, they could sell Sunoco's water heaters. The deal may also include a Sunoco insurance program next year. Sunoco's first home energy dealers include Abram Sheet Metal Inc. of Sarnia, H.A.P Mechanical Services Ltd. of London, Bryant Heating & Cooling of London and Windsor and Controlled Comfort Air of Toronto. The network will be rolled out to other areas in Ontario over the next year. Sunoco is promoting the dealer network using radio and print ads, as well as flyers created by Ranscombe & Co. of Toronto. Sunoco first entered the retail energy market in 1997, providing natural gas to residential and commercial/industrial customers.
