CANADIAN AGENCIES HAVE BIG SHOW AT GOLDEN MARBLES

Six Canadian agencies walked away winners at the Gold Marble Awards gala last week in New York. The event was organized by Brunico Events of Los Angels and celebrates creative excellence in advertising to kids. Harrod & Mirlin/FCB of Toronto picked up one gold award and one certificate for work it created for General Mills, as well as a certificate for work it handled for S.A. Chupa Chups. TBWA Chiat/Day of Toronto won a gold award for work it did for Binney & Smith, and Leo Burnett Co. of Toronto also took a gold for a Kellogg Canada TV commercial. Young & Rubicam of Toronto walked away with two gold awards for work it created Kraft Canada and BBDO Canada won a gold award for work it handled for Campbell Soup Co. Palmer Jarvis DDB of Vancouver won a gold award for work it did for Playland.
