CALEXIS OPENS U.S. SHOP
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Calexis opened an office in Pittsburgh this month. The move was made because the agency is growing its U.S. business, president Barry Milavsky told Adnews yesterday. Currently, the agency has one U.S. client, and may be getting a second. In addition, Calexis joined forces with Hoberlin Advertising of Toronto earlier this year. Hoberlin has clients in Buffalo and Rochester, both in New York, and in Erie, Pennslyvania. "We have found that our electronic infrastructure has allowed us to service clients from a distance, however, with the growing demands in the market, we needed to have people in place to work hands on with our clients," Milavsky says in a release. Calexis' client lists includes: Subway restaurants, Chubb Insurance, Parmalat, RISO, Deloitte Touche and Enershare Technology. In addition to its Toronto headquarters, the agency has an office in Oakville, Ont.
