NEWS ANCHOR MOVES INTO MODELLING GIG

Citytv news anchor Gord Martineau has signed on to be Harry Rosen's first spokesmodel for business-casual dressing. Under the deal, Harry Rosen will wardrobe Martineau for the fall season for all on-air duties including CityPulse newscasts and specials. The company will also dress Martineau for any public appearances such as charity fundraisers and galas in the city. In return, Martineau will host a number of upcoming in-store galas and fashion shows. He will also appear in a print campaign for Harry Rosen in The Globe and Mail and The Toronto Star. The campaign will be created by Roche Macaulay & Partners of Toronto. "There's still a great amount of confusion regarding business-casual dressing," Harry Rosen president Larry Rosen says in a release. "Many men have no idea how to dress for a more relaxed work environment. The way you will see Gord dressed weeknights is how we at Harry Rosen see business-casual." Martineau's wardrobe will focus on the new soft jackets from BOSS Hugo Boss and Ermenegildo Zegna, knits in fine merino wools and sports shirts. It will also include a pair of Giorgio Armani's new velour pants.
