SHOWCASE GIVES ITSELF A MAKEOVER

Showcase Television has a new logo, new slogan and a new ad campaign in time to promote its fall TV line up. The new logo is an image of an urban hotel. The new slogan is "Television Without Borders," which is meant to tell TV viewers that the specialty channel airs edgy, uncut movies. The campaign uses outdoor, radio, magazine and TV ads to promote the station and the fall line up. The campaign was created in-house with the help of Harrod & Mirlin/FCB of Toronto. The new logo was created by Alliance Broadcasting's creative services group in conjunction with The Revolver Film Co. and SOHO Post and Graphics. Showcase is operated by Alliance Broadcasting.
