Subway Restaurants of Milford, Connecticut will become the latest fast-food chain to get into the sandwich wrap craze. The sandwich chain will introduce its low-fat Chicken Parmesan Ranch Wrap to the North American market for a limited time. The sandwich will feature all-white chicken strips with a fat-free peppercorn ranch dressing and parmesan cheese wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla. Customers will also have a choice of adding vegetable toppings such as onions, tomatoes, green peppers and lettuce to their sandwich. The Chicken Parmesan Ranch Wrap will have a total fat content of five grams and will be available throughout September. The wrap will be promoted using in-store materials. A TV ad will also be made available to franchisees. Advertising for Subway is done by Publicis Hal Riney & Partners of San Francisco. Subway operates over 13,400 locations in 65 countries.
