By Adnews Staff
Japan-based Nintendo Corp. added two products this week to its line of games developed for the Nintendo 64 video game system. The two games are called F-1 World Grand Prix and Waialae Country Club: True Golf Classics. F-1 World Grand Prix makes players slow down and speed up to maintain control on the track. They can also control fuel levels, the type of tire used, the wheel angles and gear setting. There are 17 racing courses to choose from and players can choose from 11 teams with 22 of the top drivers in the F-1 league. The game also offers three difficulty settings. With the Waialae Country Club: True Golf Classics game, up to four players can hack their way through the course, controlling different aspects of the game including tee location, timing of the swing, club selection, stance and point of ball impact. The game has six different play modes to allow for a range of shots, techniques and skill levels. Players can also re-play memorable shots. The games are available in North America. In Canada, they will be promoted using print and TV ads created by Leo Burnett Co. of Toronto. PR is done by GCI Group of Toronto.
