By Adnews Staff
MT&T of Halifax will begin testing a one stop shopping service in September for its several of its business customers. The trial will last for nine months and will offer customers one bill for all of their telecommunications needs including local service, data service, long distance, cellular, paging and Internet services. Currently, customers receive different bills for various services. For example, a customer who has a phone in his office and a cellular phone, will receive one bill for each service. After the test is over, MT&T will roll out the one stop shopping service to all its business customers. Eventually, the consumer market will have the one stop shopping service as well. Advertising for MT&T is handled by Corporate Communications of Halifax. MT&T is a telecommunications company providing wireline and wireless voice, data and Internet access.
