FUJI EXPANDS ADVANCED PHOTO SYSTEM LINE

Japan-based Fuji Photo Film recently added a mini-camera to its Advanced Photo System line of cameras in the North American market. Called the Fotonex 3500ix Zoom, the camera weighs 180 grams and is 98.5mm wide and 57mm in height. The camera features a Multi-Function Card that serves as a lens cover, remote control and control panel for all major functions. The camera also features Mid-Roll Change, which allows users to remove and reinsert a partially exposed roll of film and a lens coating to reduce glare. Other features include real-image viewfinder, autofocus, red-eye reduction, landscape mode, night portrait mode and fill-in flash. In Canada, Fuji is still working out advertising plans for the camera. Ads will be created by Doner Canada of Toronto.
