RADIO MARKETING BUREAU ANNOUNCES IMPACT WINNERS

The Radio Marketing Bureau recently presented its 1998 Radio Impact Awards, which recognize excellence in radio advertising. Young & Rubicam of Toronto took away top honors for work it created for Yuk Yuk's Comedy Clubs. Other winners were: BBDO Canada, Kraft Canada; Larter Creative, Beasley Amusements; CKKW/CFCA, City of Kitchener Department of Public Works; CJIB, KT's Restaurant; CJXX, S.A.D.D.; Diesel Marketing, Le Commensal and PALM Publicite Marketing, Tour de Lile. The Radio Impact Awards are judged by consumers, the criteria being the impact the ads have on the consumer panel. Impact is measured by likeability and whether or not they would buy the product. Winners are selected by their final score.
