CMA TO BUILD BETTER AWARENESS

Montreal-based Certified Management Accountants of Canada has handed its account to LBJ*FRB Communications of Toronto. The agency won the business after a competition with an undisclosed number of agencies. "We selected LBJ*FRB because of their understanding of business and public sector communications and their successful track record in working with professional associations and not-for-profit organizations," CMA marketing and communications vice-president Francois Renauld says in a release. Until now, the CMA would hire agencies on a project basis. It decided to hire an agency because it wanted to build a better understanding of the industry's designation and profession. LBJ*FRB will launch a campaign for the organization in the fall. The CMA provides training for professionals wanting to be certified management accountants.
