HALIFAX TARGETS YOUNG ADULTS WITH AD CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
The Greater Halifax Partnership is trying to encourage young adults to live and work in the city. The organization recently launched a campaign to position Halifax as a fast-paced city and to show that young people are important to the economy. The campaign uses radio, print and outdoor ads created by Creative Atlantic Communications of Halifax. Two 30-second TV ads will be introduced later this summer and transit ads will begin in the fall. All the advertising space and time will be donated by Halifax Partnership investors from the local media community. The media investors include: Atlantic Progress, ATV/ASN, Global Television Network, CHNS/CHFX radio, 920 CJCH/C100 radio, the Metro Radio Group, The Chronicle Herald/Mail Star, The Daily News, NCC Specialty Publications, Mediacom, The Corporate Executive and Urban Outdoor Trans Ad. The Greater Halifax Partnership is the growth partnership for the Halifax Regional Municipality. Its mandate is to market and promote the region, to maintain and grow existing Halifax businesses and to attract new investment. Other investors include the local business community, as well as the provincial and federal governments.
