CO WARNING WEEK IN CANADA
By Adnews Staff
BRK Brands Canada is bringing to Canada a public service campaign warning people about a deadly gas. It is working with the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs to put on Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week, Sept. 24-30. The public education campaign is sponsored by First Alert, a carbon monoxide and smoke detector brand made by BRK. The program was started in 1993 in the United States in co-operation with the federal government. This is basically a public relations campaign, organized in Canada by Goodman Communications. It will be backed by brochures, point-of-purchase ads and packaging from the The Nucomm Group of Toronto.
