Railway Association of Canada promotes AskRail app

The Ottawa-based Railway Association of Canada has released an online video promoting its AskRail mobile application. The software is intended to provide information about railcar contents to first responders in an emergency situation. The video features Paul Boissonneault, president of the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs, and Michael Bourque, president of the Railway Association of Canada, along with members of the Fire and Rescue Service of Vaughan, ON, explaining how AskRail works. The Railway Association of Canada represents approximately 50 freight and passenger railway companies.
