Global Public Affairs adds two

Global Public Affairs of Ottawa has appointed Andrea Ellison to the position of vice-president of national communications. Based in the firm's Toronto office, she will lead the national communications practice and be responsible for new business development. Ellison was most recently senior vice-president of Mansfield. Prior to that, she operated her own firm called Andrea Ellison Communications. She was also a senior associate at Broad Reach Communications. Ellison has also worked at Hill & Knowlton, Media Profile, Environics, Wolf Group, Harbinger Communications and Goodman Communications.
Andrea Chrysanthou has joined the agency as a senior public relations consultant. She will provide public relations and external communications counsel. She will also be based in Toronto. Chrysanthou was most recently public relations manager for North America at Travelzoo. Prior to that, she was the marketing and PR manager at Pan Am Path. She has also worked at CBC, Bell Media and YTV.
