DESIGN EXCHANGE HIGHLIGHTS IMPORTANCE OF DESIGN

The Design Exchange of Toronto wants to educate the business community, as well as the public as a whole, on what the group is all about. The non-profit organization launched a transit campaign in Toronto this week to tell people how important design is to their daily lives. The creative shows six photos of the same rock. Over each is a different word: nail file, free weights, can opener, fly swatter, golf ball and pillow. The headline reads: "Imagine A World Without Design." The purpose of the campaign is to tell people they wouldn't have these products if it weren't for the design community. The ads were created by Axmith, McIntyre, Wicht of Toronto. The mandate of the Design Exchange is to promote the importance of design.
