ARGONAUTS TEAM WITH WOLF

The Wolf Group has scored a touchdown with The Toronto Argonaut Football Club. The Toronto agency won the organization's ad account late last month after a competition with five other agencies. "Wolf Group was clearly the champ in the competition for our account," Argonaut operations vice-president Dave Watkins says in a release. "They demonstrated a distinct ability to understand our business, which is not only to promote Canadian football, but also turn Argo game day into a big event for our fans. At the same time, Wolf offers us excellent strategic thinking and winning creative solutions." Wolf will launch a Toronto radio campaign for the football club at the end of the month. The incumbent on the account was Mainstay Communications of Toronto. The agency worked on the account since last fall, after Roche, Macaulay & Partners of Toronto resigned from the business.
