Jeff Domansky has joined GPC Communications of Vancouver as vice-president and general manager. Most recently he was vice-president at Focus Strategies of Vancouver, a division Palmer Jarvis/DDB. Steve Crombie is now at GPC as vice-president. Previously he was president of Corporate Strategies Group of Vancouver, the PR division of the now defunct Dome/FCB of Vancouver. Lisa Kimmel has been appointed account executive in the consumer marketing practice at Cohn & Wolfe of Toronto. She will be working on such accounts as the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Canada, Philips Electronics Ltd. H.J. Heinz Company of Canada Ltd., Schering-Plough Healthcare Products and The Learning Channel. Formerly Kimmel was PR consultant at Griffin Bacal Volny of Toronto. Laura Cochrane has joined the agency as a senior counsellor in the consumer marketing practice. Most recently she was communications director at the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Wayne Arcus has been named business development vice-president at Motorola Canada Ltd. Previously he was general manager of the company's network systems division.
