SHERATON DEBUTS RESTAURANT FOR BUSINESS COMMUNITY

The Sheraton Centre hotel in downtown Toronto has renovated and renamed its lobby restaurant. The restaurant is now called Traders Bar & Grill and features a full service kitchen. In addition, the Sheraton has teamed up with Reuters Information Services (Canada) Ltd. so Trader patrons can receive financial markets news and quotes from two wall-mounted Data Walls and three scrolling digital ticker tapes. In addition, Reuters will offer is exclusive financial television network, which will broadcast live from around the world wherever and whenever there is a major financial announcement or world event affecting the financial markets. A data port station allows customers to log in while away from the office and cellular phones are available for those needing to call clients or the office. Traders is being promoted in downtown Toronto using outdoor and bus shelter ads created by Ogilvy & Mather of Toronto. Sheraton PR director Cynthia Bond told Adnews that the hotel chain is interested in expanding Traders to other Sheraton hotels in Canada and the U.S., but there are no current plans to do so.
