JAPAN CAMERA TO OPEN REVAMPED STORE
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Japan Camera Centre will re-open its refurbished store located at Fairview Mall in Toronto next week. The outlet is 3000 square feet in size, which is double its original size. It has been designed to make photo equipment and technology more available and accessible to customers. It will feature interactive walk-up stations where customers will be able to print pictures in numerous creative ways without the need for the original negative. Digital darkrooms will be able to transmit images via e-mail and training facilities will offer product demonstrations. A children's corner will offer age-appropriate photo products for use including cameras, books and photo puzzles. A scrapbooking area will feature the latest products including acid-free paper. In addition, there will be a frames and albums area and one-hour processing for the Advanced Photo System. The new store will be promoted using print ads created by Communiqué of Toronto. This is Japan Camera's first expanded store. It plans to open more if it is successful.
