CP HOTELS SPONSORS SHOW BOAT

Canadian Pacific Hotels & Resorts in Vancouver is a sponsor of Toronto-based Livent's production of the musical Show Boat which premieres in the west coast city Dec. 3. People staying at a CP hotel in Vancouver can order tickets for the show through the hotel. Livent of Toronto is advertising the sponsorship in its radio and print advertising beginning Sept. 2. The musical has been promoted since last October using print, radio and TV. Livent's ads are created by Echo Advertising and Scott Thornley & Associates, both of Toronto. Show Boat is the winner of five 94/95 New York Drama Awards, four New York Outer Critics Circle Awards and five 1995 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical. CP operates 25 hotels across Canada.
