VERITAS HEADS EAST

Toronto-based Veritas Communications has set up an office in Halifax. David Chown, who has been a vice-president at Veritas since 1996, will head up the Halifax office. Veritas moved into Atlantic Canada to service existing clients and to gain new clients as well. Separately, Tim Holman has been appointed government relations director. He will be working out of the Toronto office. Most recently he was a senior consultant at SAMCI. Veritas is a healthcare communications consulting firm offering public, government and professional relations services, as well as research, managed care and management consulting services.
