EPSON SWITCHES TO DDB

U.S.-based Epson America has given its U.S. account to DDB Needham Worldwide's Los Angeles office. The agency won the business after a competition with The Richards Group of Dallas, Rubin Postaer & Associates of Santa Monica, California and Seiniger Advertising Group of Beverley Hills. In Canada, Epson will use U.S. creative, adapting the ads for Canada and doing the Canadian media buy. Any changes to the ads will be done by various graphic designers, while media buying will be handled in-house. The incumbent on the U.S. account was Ammirati & Puris/Lintas of New York. Epson markets printers and imaging products.
