AIMS PREDICTS GROWTH IN CANADIAN INTERNET ADVERTISING

According to members of the Association of Internet Marketing & Sales, Web advertising spending will reach over $10,000,000 this year. The members believe that less than $10,000,000 was spent in 1997. All AIMS members believe that the Web advertising industry is still in its formative stages, and 84% of them said it was either somewhat or very important for companies to advertise on the Web. The informal poll was conducted by Millward Brown International of Toronto. AIMS is a forum for Canadian Internet decision makers to contribute to the formation of the best practices and emerging trends within the Internet marketing and sales field.
