COLONEL BRINGS BACK CHICKEN FRIES
By Adnews Staff
U.S.-based Kentucky Fried Chicken brought back its Chicken Fries to North America last week for a six-week stay. Chicken Fries is KFC chicken shaped like french fries. They were first introduced two years ago as a six-week promotional offer. In Canada, the Chicken Fries are being promoted using radio and TV ads created by Ogilvy & Mather of Toronto. In addition, KFC has revamped its logo. It now highlights KFC founder Colonel Harland Sanders. The logo is an image of the Colonel with KFC written on his jacket. In the previous logo, the KFC name was more prominent than the Colonel. The logo was designed by Landor & Associates of New York.
