NETCOM COMMITS TO ALMOST PERFECT SERVICE

Netcom Canada of Toronto is now offering a guarantee to its business customers. Under the plan, Netcom will guarantee a minimum of 99.5% availability for all business services such as network up time and availability, Web page hosting and dedicated or dialog connection. If customers' service falls below that level, they report the problem to Netcom's customer support department. Once the problem has been verified, Netcom will credit the customer up to 25% of the monthly service fee. The deal is available to new and existing customers. For new customers, Netcom will refund customers' setup fee and allow them to cancel without penalty if they are not completely satisfied with Netcom's service in the first 30 days following installation. The guarantees will be supported with a national print campaign in computer magazines. The ads will be created by 2 Door Communications of Toronto.
