AT&T FLATTENS INTERNATIONAL RATES
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based AT&T Long Distance Services Co. is targeting Canada's multicultural communities with its latest long-distance calling plan that it launched earlier this month. Under the plan, customers choose five countries that they call the most. They will be charged a flat rate when they call those countries, regardless of the day or time that they call. In addition, AT&T has reduced its international rates by an average of 15%. AT&T is promoting the new plan using radio and TV ads on multicultural stations, and print ads in multicultural newspapers. The campaign was created by Young & Rubicam of Toronto.
