BELL CANADA TOUTS ADVANTAGE

Toronto-based Bell Canada launched a campaign this week to promote its Advantage Optimum savings program. The campaign uses in-flight magazines, print, TV, radio and direct mail. BBDO Canada of Toronto created the print, TV and radio ads, while Cohn & Wells of Toronto is handling the direct mail. Advantage Optimum targets business customers and was launched last month. The plan offers a single discount plan consolidating business long distance and toll-free services, an average 25% reduction from current base rates covering all long distance and toll-free calls in Canada and the U.S. and up to a 16% discount on calls to Canadian businesses' top nine trading countries.
