MAILFAST TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE HOLIDAYS

U.S.-based Mailfast is trying to increase its market over the Christmas holidays. The international mail distribution and delivery company launched a promotion on its Web site recently where customers can receive a free gift if they place an order with Mailfast. The two gifts available are: a guide to worldwide postal codes and a world atlas. The promotion will run until the end of the year in Canada, the U.S., Belgium, Finland, Switzerland and the U.K. A section of the Web site has been designed to provide customers with direct access to Mailfast representatives in order the learn about the company's holiday services and promotions offers in their local area. Custom Web pages have been designed for each country in local languages. In Canada, Mailfast is supported the promotion using PR and direct mail. The PR is being handled by Shandwick Canada of Toronto. The direct mail was done by J. Walter Thompson of New York.
