INFOINTERACTIVE BRINGS PHONE SERVICE TO NEW BRUNSWICK
By Adnews Staff
InfoInterActive of Halifax expanded its Internet Call Manager service to New Brunswick earlier this month. ICM is a phone service that notifies Internet uses of incoming calls, including caller identification. Once notified, the ICM user can acknowledge the caller by clicking their mouse and selecting a pre-set message. Users can tell the caller they will call them back, tell the caller to call again or just tell the caller they're not answering the phone. InfoInterActive told Adnews yesterday it did not want to talk about advertising plans for the service in New Brunswick because of competition. ICM has been in Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia since last June. When InfoInterActive launched the service those areas it used computer publications and on-line ads to promote ICM. Advertising for the company is created by Image Design of Halifax, while media placement is done in-house.
