DONER CHANGES NAME, PLANS TO EXPAND
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Doner Shur Peppler has renamed the agency Doner Canada and plans to expand its Toronto and Montreal offices. It will also open offices in other Canadian cities. The move is being made because Doner will be handling the Mazda business in Canada. Its parent company, W.B. Doner of Baltimore, won the North American Mazda business earlier this fall. The Canadian offices will mainly localize U.S. creative and handle media buying in Canada. In addition, managing director Adrian Taylor has been named president of Doner Canada. He replaces Dan Peppler who resigned from the position to pursue other interests. Taylor joined Doner in 1992. Prior to this he was business development director at J. Walter Thompson of Toronto. Doner Canada's client list includes Canadian Tire Corp., Purolator Courier, Grand & Toy, Hunt-Wesson, Hershey Canada, Remy Martin, Leon's and Fuji PhotoFilm.
