ROM UPDATE

Ranscombe & Co. of Toronto will handle projects for the Royal Ontario Museum until a full-scale agency review is conducted. The ROM plans to have an agency in place by July 1, 1998. The Toronto museum parted ways with its agency, Bates Canada of Toronto, after a 14-month relationship. The ROM said in a release that it was in the middle of changing its strategy and felt that a long-term commitment with an agency wasn't appropriate until its new positioning was complete.
