CASSIES AWARDS

The Canadian Congress of Advertising presented its Cassies awards this week in Toronto. Top honors went to BBDO Retail of Toronto, which was given the Grand Prix award and two gold awards for a campaign for Chrysler Canada. Other gold winners were: J. Walter Thompson, Kraft Canada; Ogilvy & Mather, Lever Pond's; Palmer Jarvis Communications, Richmond Savings; MacLaren McCann, Molson Breweries and FCB Canada, Goodwill Toronto. Certificates of Excellence were awarded to: Leo Burnett Co., Cadbury Chocolate; Ogilvy & Mather, Lipton Canada; TBWA Chiat/Day, Metropolitan Toronto Zoo; Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, Walt Disney Company Canada; MacLaren McCann, General Motors of Canada, Cossette Communication-Marketing, Schering Canada; Bensimon Byrne, W.K. Buckley; Padulo Integrated Advertising, BMG Music Service; Bozell Worldwide, Labatt Breweries of Canada; Roche Macaulay & Partners Advertising, Outward Bound Wilderness School; ABC Canada Literacy Foundation; J. Walter Thompson, Kraft Canada.
