BATES GETS READY FOR COLD SEASON

Bates Canada of Toronto is getting Canadians ready for the cough and cold season. The agency launched a TV campaign earlier this month for Warner-Lambert's Benylin Nighttime cough and cold syrup. The ads focus on consumer trust in their physicians and highlights the Benylin Nighttime formula, which has been designed to be released gradually, lasting up to 12 hours, so cold sufferers don't have to re-dose during the night. The TV ads will be supported with a direct mail campaign and bus boards in major markets.
