JERGENS TAKES THE COVER OF MODERN WOMAN

Jergens Canada of Mississauga, Ont. is using the front cover of a magazine to promote one of its new biore skincare products. The company has put a sample of its biore Pore Perfect Deep Cleansing Strip on the cover of the latest issue of Modern Woman magazine. On the back cover, Jergens is promoting the entire line of biore products. Sampling is also being used in other magazines, at trade shows targeting women and other events such as concerts. In addition, national TV and radio ads are supporting the line. Most of the campaign was created by Deutsch Inc. of New York. Creative Art & Design of Oakville, Ont. did some English print and Jacques Paris & Associates of Toronto handled some advertising for the Quebec market. Jergens launched biore in Canada in May. Its U.S. counterpart introduced the line about a month earlier. The line consists of four products, the cleansing strip, cleansing gel, foaming cleanser and hydrating moisturizer.
