TD OFFERS STOCK MARKET GICS

Toronto Dominion Bank introduced a new family of Guaranteed Investment Certificates this week that are linked to the stock market. Called the TD market Growth GICs, there are three products in the line called TD GIC Plus, TD U.S. GIC Plus and TD Global GIC Plus. TD GIC Plus is linked to Canada's Toronto Stock Exchange. TD U.S. GIC Plus is linked to the U.S. Standard & Poor's 500 Index. TD Global GIC Plus is linked to stock market indices in the G7 group of countries. All of the products are 100% RRSP eligible. The Market Growth GICs allow investors the potential to earn a return linked to the performance of leading stock market. They are available in three or five-year terms. Advertising for TD is created by a roster of agencies including TBWA Chiat/Day and LEL, both of Toronto.
