CO-OPERATORS ADDS BILLBOARDS TO DIRECTPROTECT CAMPAIGN

The Co-operators Group of Guelph, Ont. recently launched a billboard and commuter transit poster campaign to promote its DirectProtect insurance. The billboards are along a major highway in Toronto, while the posters are being seen on buses carrying commuters from the Toronto area into the city. The ads supplement an existing print, TV and radio campaign. Advertising for DirectProtect is done by Wunderman, Cato, Johnson of Toronto. Cohn & Wolfe of Toronto is handling PR. DirectProtect is home and automobile insurance that is sold over the phone. It has been available in Ontario since September 1995. It entered Quebec earlier this year.
