ANDERSON LANDS PAXIL ACCOUNT

Anderson Toronto will launch a campaign by December to promote SmithKline Beecham's Paxil anti-depressant. The campaign will be a patient compliance/adherence program. Toronto-based SmithKline hired Anderson for the business recently after a competition with four other agencies. "Anderson Toronto was selected based on its expertise in strategic development and competence in pharmaceutical communications," Central Nervous System Neuroscience therapeutic marketing manager Stephen King says in a release. SmithKline refused to name the incumbent on the account.
