CCA PROMOTES MEDIA LITERACY

Concerned Children's Advertisers is targeting children aged 4 to 8 in its TV ad that will be launched later this month to promote media literacy. The goal of the campaign is to give children the practical tools that would help them better interpret, cope with and understand what they see on TV. Called Smart As You, the 60-second spot is the first in a series. The ad was created by FCB Canada of Toronto. CCA is a non-profit consortium of 21 Canadian companies who have a concern for all issues affecting children. Its goal to create and deliver messages that will "help children lead a balanced, healthy and positive life."
