James McCoubrey will join Canadian Broadcasting Corp. on Sept. 2 as executive vice-president and chief operating officer. Most recently he was president and CEO of Telemedia Inc. McCoubrey has also worked at Young & Rubicam of Toronto as CEO and executive vice-president of the agency's parent company.
